Privacy Policy

Public Bid Wire collects the information needed to create and deliver custom opportunity watchlists: name, email address, company, trade or industry, opportunity type, service areas, keywords, saved watchlists, alert preferences, payment status, subscription status, dashboard access token, and customer-reported match outcomes.

How we use information

We use customer information to process checkout, maintain subscription status, filter public bid and grant opportunities, send customer emails, provide dashboard access, support customers, prevent abuse, and improve the service.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Public Bid Wire does not store full payment card numbers. Stripe may process payment, subscription, fraud-prevention, and billing information under its own terms and privacy policy.

Cookies and similar technologies

Public Bid Wire does not currently use advertising, remarketing, or non-essential analytics cookies on the public pages we control. The website, WordPress, Stripe checkout, email delivery, hosting, and security tools may use essential cookies or similar technologies needed for checkout, dashboard access, security, fraud prevention, and normal site operation. If we add non-essential analytics or advertising tracking later, we will update this policy and add consent controls where required.

Email

We send service emails about dashboard access, subscription status, cancellation, weekly watchlist reports, and eligible plan alerts. Customers can turn weekly reports and priority alerts on or off from the dashboard, use the unsubscribe link in a report, cancel their subscription from the dashboard, or contact hello@publicbidwire.com for help. Account owners may add consented team recipients on eligible plans; each team recipient receives an unsubscribe link. Transactional messages required to operate an active subscription may still be sent.

Public sources

Reports are built from public opportunity sources such as SAM.gov and Grants.gov. Public Bid Wire is independent and is not affiliated with SAM.gov, Grants.gov, or any government agency. Customers should verify eligibility, deadlines, and requirements at the original source before acting.

Data sharing

We do not sell customer information or share it for third-party advertising. We share data only with service providers needed to operate the service, including WordPress/hosting, Stripe, email delivery, security tools, and public data APIs.

Retention and requests

Customers may request access, correction, or deletion of their customer profile by emailing hello@publicbidwire.com. Some records may be retained when needed for security, billing, tax, dispute, backup, or legal purposes.
